Yes, the cost of repairing and change shape of seat (whit skin recovering) probably is less than 3 1\2 seat adapting...
Aniway for the battery, you can control the head of the battery and search the plugs, if the battery had this, you can regenerate...
If not you go to battery center and replace this.

Per la batteria puoi controllare la testa della stessa e vedere se ci sono tappini, se si puoi rigenerarla...
Sennò vai in un centro di batterie e la rimpiazzi.

Everything ok, but still don 't have lights !.... and my battery has been renewed!
And, I wanted his opinion concerning the retention of the regulator (see photo) which looks a little '"burned" if the fuse is ok !..... you know where I can find something that can replace it?

I have a 140cc motor (because my motor was rectified) and go correctly.
For me if you replace whit a 175cc motor, you controll the valves, maybe you replace them whit other which have more diameter.

I spoke about the conversion with a racing engine tuner and told me that shouldn' t be a problem about the valves.
Valves should support it as it is the same as the 250.
Rest to find a piston!.... that's why I have to ask you (Nick!) what "140" piston did you take!?
Because morini pistons head aren't concave but flat, with valves prints!....
anyway if you have tips

Ho parlato della conversione con un sintonizzatore motore da corsa e mi ha detto che shouldn 't essere un problema circa le valvole.
Le valvole dovrebbero sostenerlo in quanto è lo stesso del 250.
Resto per trovare un pistone !.... è per questo che devo chiederti (Nick!) cosa pistone "140" hai preso?
Perché Morini testa pistoni non sono concave, ma piatta, con stampe valvole !....

I found the 140 (estimated) piston when i rectified the cylinder, and workers replaced the original 125 whit bigger piston and this piston has same form of old.
But whit new piston i have - consuption and more power whit low rpm, and in high rpm motor doesn't go very weel, so i use max to 6500/7000 rpm and normal whit low, and go very much, but whit old piston the motor "explode" at 6000 rpm and went fast, now not.
Whit 250\175 motor i don't know, but probably you replace friction's springs.
I'm very happy for your results, post an action photo!

Io ho trovato il 140 (stimato) quando ho rettificato il cilindro e loro me ne hanno messo uno uguale al 125 ma piu grosso.
Ma col nuovo pistone ho meno consumi e piu coppia in basso, ma meno in alto, però usando sotto ii 7000 di solito va piu che bene, peccato che col vecchio da 6000 giri il motore "esplodeva".
Con il 175\250 non so ma forse dovrai cambiare l molle frizione.
Sono veramente contento dei risultati, posta una foto in azione!

Hi Cisco! Paint is Motip (spray cans) acryl paint + Motip Vernish.
Chrome color is the same mark but rubbish!

spray chrome colors are not good cause it very weak and cant be touched cause they become dark.
if you find a good chrome vernish please tell me the brand i'll do the same

I' m finishing my Lambretta before working on Morini! I' m going to replace the 6v original ignition by a 12V ignition replacment. Expensive (400 euro) but efficient for the Morini.
Except from that, I cutted the inserts T- fork bar and machined the rest, just like the sport version.
I have to dispaint it and repaint with black epoxy paint.


I 'm finire la mia Lambretta Prima di lavorare su Morini! I 'm andando a sostituire il motore originale 6v da un replacment accensione 12V. Costoso (400 euro) affinché il efficienti Morini.
Tranne questo, ho tagliato gli inserti forcella T-bar e lavorate il resto, proprio come la versione sport.
I Have a dispaint e riverniciare con vernice epossidica nera.
