Oggetto: Sportcity 250 parti di sintonia, dove comprare?

Hi,

Ringraziamenti in anticipo.

Riguardi, Karl

Does "ncomprensible" mean not possible?

EDIT: Was it possible to read the Italian auto-translate?

PUBBLICHI: Era possibile leggere l'italiano automobile-traduce?

OK, I tried.... icon_redface.gif

I have a Sportcity 250i.e model 2006.

I am looking for an engine upgrade, aiming for approx. 10 - 15 hp more if possible.

I think that a 300 cc cylinder, camshaft, maybe head/valve, air cleaner, exhaust system and new mapping of the electronic will do the job.

Transmission changes would probably also be necessary.

An other choice would be to change the complete engine to bigger one.

Do you know any company selling parts for a modification like that?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Karl

I think that SC is to small to put on it a 300cc... so the best way is working on 250 but to achieve 6-7Hp not 10-15

However, here you can find a lot of riders with 250 worked out, but with other scooters like beverly

malossi special parts for scooter produces cylinder (205cc high performance), camshaft, head/valve...
you can visit and find a seller to Malossi.com

for the exhaust pipe there are Leovince 4road and GPR for sportcity, but the aprilia sc250i requires a different sistem of electronic injection...
you can find it to Malossi.com to the voice DIGITRONIC...
but the modified injection system can be very expensive...

for the transmission you can take a variator from this brand (search locator in google) Polini, Malossi, Pinasco, Bettella...(the last 2 are more hard to find to you...).. but they are equal...

anyway plus 15 hp are impossible to obtain...
your scooter will become a race product and it will have little reliable...

good job... bye

Hi Andrearoma84,

Thanks for your reply, 6-7 Hp is better than nothing and probably less expensive, should be possible by only remapping the electronics, changing the exhaust system and air cleaner??

I will search the forum also for Beverly 250 and see if I can find anything.

I have searched the internet for tuning parts, like camshafts, cylinders and so on, but only found parts to the Sportcity 200.

BTW:

My SC250 gas tank started to leak after one week, and I now know that I was not the only one having this problem, I also read that some of you had problem with the fuel gauge, I had to replace the sensor in the tank.

All problems was fixed on Aprilia warranty, but I had to wait 2 months for a new gas tank and almost 4 months for a new sensor for the petrol meter.

However, I love the SC250 icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for your reply Simeo,

I have asked Malossi, but they didn't have parts for the SC250, only for the SC200.

Do you think that if anybody has parts it should be Malossi?

If yes, I might just wait and see if Malossi comes up with 250 parts in the future.

BTW:

I know it is a crazy project idea......, but I LOVE crazy projects, my latest crazy project was a Suzuki 1100 GSX model 1984 altered to 1327 cc, head/valves, camshaft, Mikuni RS40 and some more parts, tested on the dyno to 178 Hp.. Karl.zellner.com

the variator and the final gear transmission are the same for sc250i and sc200...

you can try these...

or (this is a crazy idea) you can try the 210cc malossi engine without injection...

Hmmmm...

Maybe it could be an idea, but I live in the conviction that more cc and electronic fuel injection is a better start.

Just have to get access to the fuel injection maps.

In my opinion, first of all, you should buy the variator who give you more acceleration. After you can buy an exhaust( leovince 4road or GPR) who has a good sound.
I'm not sure but i think that malossi camshaft is the same for the 200 and 250. ( you should tray to call malossi )
